149 out of 193 UN member states have now recognised the state of Palestine, but three permanent members of the UN Security Council have yet to do so. At least one has actually hampered the Security Council's efforts to accept the recommendations of the UN General Assembly, which overwhelmingly support Palestinian statehood. This book will trace the Palestinian national aspirations since the beginning of the 20th century and will provide arguments for the immediate need for the realization of the State of Palestine NOW.
