High Octane And Other Stories - Softcover

Inhaltsangabe

Once again, Indiana author David Boyer ventures back in time to the 1970s, for more tales of misspent youth, teenage angst and rebellion, and, of course, teenage love and loss, with the collection "High Octane And Other Stories." From the sandy beach of a local gravel pit where teenagers swim and day dream about true love but fear the uncertainty of becoming an adult, to the county roads where two rebellious teens, who have run out of gas, find out almost too late that life is a very precious thing, and should never be wasted on binge drinking and driving too fast, to the grounds of an ancient, lonely graveyard where an urban legend brings two infatuated teenagers together for one magical night, but ends up haunting them forever, HIGH OCTANE is yet another collection of tales that may elicit laughter, or a tear, but in all will surely bring about memories of a time long since past that we will all still miss and treasure for the rest of our lives.
