As a person who faced racism growing decided to write a book based on some life experiences and her mother's homeland Saint. Vincent. her main initiative in writing this book was based on party scenes she visited at an early age. Her main aim was to capture the lives of young people growing up in Britain from the 1960s.to 1990s
