The Eggstabletman - Hardcover

Inhaltsangabe

Fourteen-year-old Melody Sook has one dream: to dance. Bound to a wheelchair and trapped in small-town Nebraska, she believes her dream is impossible-until the night she meets a stranger at the circus. He calls himself the Eggstabletman. He is charming, patient, and impossibly wise. Only Melody can see him. Under his guidance, Melody begins to change. Her body grows stronger, her confidence brighter. Yet with every step toward her dream, an unease shadows her nights-visions, riddles, and dreams that bleed into waking life. The town whispers about the 20s Club, young people who vanish before thirty. Melody laughs it off-until the whispers grow too close, and the dreams too real. Some mentors change your life. Others take it for themselves.
