Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Shaiska Malca, a native of Panama, lives in Illinois, USA, with her husband, twin boys, and their dog Dexter. Inspired by her multicultural family and motivated by the pressing need for bilingual programs for children, she founded Pura Vida Talk, a Spanish language program with a mission to make learning Spanish an enriching experience, enabling children to grasp the language and connect with its cultural richness. Her dedication to Hispanic culture led to extensive research covering culture, history, and travels, ensuring an authentic representation of Spanish-speaking countries, which is fundamental to her Spanish program and book. Shaiska, a former lawyer, believes in the transformative power of language learning and advocates for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
