We all have our Muses, or wish we did, who inspire us to take on creative ventures, get our imaginations perked up, motors humming. In Nine Breezes Blowing Johnny Flaherty has composed a focused collection of poems about nine Muses, partly memoir and partly maybe, all riding on their own breeze. Though his stories are contemporary, his Muses are modeled after those alluring Goddesses portrayed in Greek Mythology. Music, art, dance, poetry are inspired in these stories, often through enchantment. Johnny has previously published three full books of poetry and has recorded a spoken word CD titled Johnny Flaherty's Renderings: sideshow poetry.
