The poems are heavily influenced by the writings of the Beat Generation and existential philosophers. The author has a background and interest in physics, astronomy, cinema and fast motorcycles. Both the author and illustrator have spent considerable time and effort in wandering the hinterlands attempting to attain a confused and misplaced state of being.
