Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Joseph (Joe) Morin is a retired educator. Upon receiving his initial certification from Toronto Teacher's College (1970) he spent almost three full decades teaching K-12 in Ontario, mostly in the field of Special Education. He attended York University in Toronto as an undergraduate (B.A. Sociology, 1974), University of Toronto for his graduate degrees (M. Ed., 1976 and Ed.D., 1998). Upon retiring from K-12 in 1999, he taught at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire until 2014. He currently resides in Calgary Alberta Canada with his wife of 54 years. He has one daughter, and two grandchildren. He has had a long-standing interest in the writing process having published technical works in both professional journals and in a collection of curricular guides. Some of this discipline has been applied to his works of fiction but certainly not all. Fiction he finds, is a different animal and the feeling of still being a ‘novice' writer in the midst of all his experience has been hard to shake. That being said, he enjoys the freedom fiction provides, freedom to explore different forms of expression while relieved from the shackles of technical writing. He can be reached for comment at morinje@icloud.com.
