Lucy The Adventurous Goat - Softcover

Inhaltsangabe

In a green countryside where the hills roll on forever, there lives a little goat named Lucy — braver, curious-er, and far more restless than the rest of her herd. While the other goats nap in the shade, Lucy is always the first to wonder what lies beyond the old wooden fence.

So when the farm dog Gruff tells a bedtime story about the Magical Meadow — a hidden place said to grow grass so sweet that any goat who tastes it never forgets — Lucy knows she has to find it, no matter how far away it is.
Her journey leads her through the whispering woods, where a wise old owl named Billy teaches her to slow down and listen. She meets Jojo, a chattering, acorn-sharing squirrel who shows her hidden shortcuts through the hills. She crosses a rushing river with the help of a friendly frog, and weathers a storm alone in a rocky cave — coming out the other side to a sky washed clean and a rainbow overhead.

But when Lucy finally reaches the Magical Meadow, the grass tastes... ordinary. Confused and disappointed, she meets Lala, a gentle old goat who has lived near the meadow for many years — and who helps Lucy see her whole adventure in a completely new light.

Lucy the Adventurous Goat is a heartwarming picture book about curiosity, friendship, and the quiet lesson that the real magic of any journey isn't waiting at the end of the road — it's found in every step along the way. Perfect for young readers who dream of adventure, and the grown-ups who read to them.
