NUVIRIC: A Ghost in the Darkness: Volume One: The Backstory - Softcover

Inhaltsangabe

He was the greatest singer of the ancient world. Around 1400 BC, in the city of Ugarit, a temple singer named Yarid-Šamaš gave his voice to the goddess Nikkal — and wrote the music for the oldest song in human history. Then he was cut down on a battlefield, denied burial, and caught inside a rite that broke halfway through. Three thousand years later, he is still here. He has worn a thousand faces, sung in a hundred tongues, and fed on the living to keep his borrowed flesh. He calls himself Jereth now. He fronts a band. And every song he has sung since that field has been practice — rehearsal for the day the instrument is finally, fully tuned. You will hear it. Oh, you will hear it. NUVIRIC: A Ghost in the Darkness — Volume One: The Backstory is the first book of a seven-part series: the true story of the man behind the music, from the temples of Ugarit to the stages of the modern world.
