I'm Smaller Than Everyone In My Class: A Story for Children About Being a Little Person (Little Truths) - Softcover

Inhaltsangabe

Remy’s shadow stretches all the way to the fence. Remy is still smaller than everyone in class.

I’m Smaller Than Everyone In My Class is a warm, honest picture book for children aged 3-7 who have a body that grows differently, including little people and their families.

Told entirely from Remy’s point of view, the story follows what it feels like to love school and still notice the water fountain, the comparisons, and the moments when different feels heavy. And what happens when the afternoon sun stretches your shadow as far as anyone’s, and different is not wrong. That is just you.

Perfect for:

• Little people and their families
• Children who feel different or left out at school
• Parents looking for a book that names dwarfism with honesty and warmth
• Teachers and school counsellors supporting children with physical differences
• Gifting to a family navigating questions about body difference

Illustrated in a warm, painterly watercolour style, I’m Smaller Than Everyone In My Class never talks down to children. It meets them where they are, and lets their shadow reach the fence.

A note for grown-ups is included, with practical guidance and simple conversation starters.
