Consent Book for Kids : A Halloween Story About Reading Feelings, Fun-Scared vs. Real-Scared & Respecting Others (Ages 3-6)

Taschenbuch. Zustand: Neu. Neuware - Does your child struggle to tell the difference between fun-scared and real-scared - or push a friend's limits without realizing it Halloween is the one holiday built entirely around startling people for fun. For most kids that's thrilling. For sensitive kids, an unexpected 'BOO!' can tip straight past fun into real fear - and the friend who scared them often has no idea anything went wrong. The crew is decorating the Hollow for the Harvest Moon Festival - pumpkins, paper bats, string lights. Hop discovers that jumping out to shout 'BOO!' is hilarious. Elle laughs when he scares her, so he gets bolder - and ambushes Milo. Milo doesn't laugh. He freezes, flashes worried Lavender Purple, and bolts into a pile of leaves, fading Transparent with shame at having 'ruined the fun.' Hop feels confused and a little hurt: it's just pretend - why isn't it fun for everyone Luckily, Slow-Mo has a simple tool: The Boo Check. Before you scare a friend, you check in first - a whispered \*'Boo. or no boo '\* - and you always watch their face after, because pretend-scared doesn't feel the same to everyone. Children will learn: - Consent & Checking In - asking before you startle, tease, or surprise a friend- Reading Others' Signals - noticing the difference between a laugh and a freeze- Fun-Scared vs. Real-Scared - understanding that the same moment can feel totally different to two different kids Join The Cozy Crew - Hop, Elle, Milo, and Slow-Mo - a series that helps little ones navigate big feelings with gentle tools and kind hearts. Includes a bonus 'Peek & Seek' activity page inside! Perfect for sensitive kids, kids who love to scare their friends, and any grown-up looking for a gentle way to talk about consent before Halloween mischief goes too far. Artikel-Nr. 9798171529949
