The Game Is Still On: The Unfinished Story of Building Tunk.ai - Softcover

Inhaltsangabe

Before there was funding, before there was a team, before there was even a plan — there was a 12th‑standard dropout who couldn’t get hired at a rubber factory because of his age.

The Game Is Still On is the unfinished story of Diwakar Set: a worker, courier, tax‑office peon, collections agent, jewelry designer, and transcription‑industry veteran who, at 41, learned the basics of Python in physical classes from an ex‑CTO and set out to build an AI company with no funding, no technical background, and no safety net.

This isn’t a success story told in hindsight. Tunk.ai is live, has processed tens of thousands of AI calls, and has launched Anchor, its prompt‑to‑voice AI platform — but there’s been no exit, no big raise, and thirty months of the founder’s own money going in while very little comes back. This book is written from inside that uncertainty: the customer who threw a business card back in his face, the nights he couldn’t pay his daughter’s school fees, and the people — a wife who is also his co‑founder, a friend who never got to read this book, engineers who kept building on deferred pay — who carried the vision forward with him.

Honest, unfiltered, and still being written in real time, this is a startup memoir about resilience, sacrifice, and what it actually costs to build something out of necessity rather than ambition.

The game is still on.
