What if the life you're working so hard for isn't actually the life you want?
We're all supposed to want more, aren't we?
A bigger house. A better job. More money. Nicer things. A life that looks like we've finally made it.
But somewhere between working, paying bills, keeping everyone happy and trying to do everything we're supposed to, it's easy to forget what we're actually doing it all for.

What if there's another way to look at things?

What if having more isn't about having more stuff?
Maybe it's having time for an ordinary weekday afternoon. Feeling comfortable saying no. Spending more time with the people you love. Or finding a way to earn a living without feeling as though your entire life revolves around work.

A Different Kind of More is an honest, sometimes funny look at the expectations we grow up with, the things we chase without questioning why, and the possibility of choosing something different.
Emily Ashton explores work, money, family, social pressure, slow living and the small decisions that can gradually give us more freedom. Not through unrealistic promises or a perfect five-step plan, but through everyday thoughts, experiences and questions that might make you see your own life a little differently.

Maybe it's time to stop asking what we're supposed to want, and start thinking about what we actually want instead.
