Even Death Couldn't Get Him Out of the Army : A Military Comedy About Life After Duty

Taschenbuch. Zustand: Neu. Neuware - Dying was supposed to get Staff Sergeant Marcus 'Mac' Callahan out of the Army. Unfortunately, nobody updated his paperwork. After seventeen years of service, countless field exercises, and questionable leadership decisions, Mac meets his end in the most Army way imaginable: a freshly mopped hallway with no warning sign. But death doesn't mean discharge. Now Mac is a ghost trapped on a military installation, surrounded by missing paperwork, unfinished taskings, mandatory fun, and a chain of command that can't seem to let him go.With help from a specialist who's mastered the art of avoiding unnecessary work, an increasingly capable headquarters staff, and an afterlife representative whose patience has clearly been tested before, Mac must navigate the one obstacle he never trained for: getting the Army to officially let him go.Even Death Couldn't Get Him Out of the Army is a sharp, absurd military comedy about leadership, bureaucracy, letting go, and the terrifying possibility that your final out-processing appointment might never come.Because in the Army, even death doesn't excuse you from accountability.
