The Consequence of Conscience: Inspector Sarkisian Mysteries Episode 6 - Softcover

Inhaltsangabe

In what may well be the most confusing and challenging case of his career, Inspector Armen Sarkisian is once again called upon to do the impossible.

As a result of a series of unexpected surprises and what she thought was a wonderfully fortunate turn of events, Detective Janise Rande reconnected with a sorority sister from her college days while attending the 30th anniversary party for her boyfriend, Hagop Ohanian’s parents in a very rural area east of Fresno. It was a joyous reconnection and yet, a pall hung over the reunion.

Cecilia Apostle thought she was just a normal, twenty-something high school math teacher in a small Central Valley farming community. She loved her job and expected to stay forever. However, what she didn’t expect and couldn’t believe was that her past would lead to her being accused of murdering a blackmailer. And yet, even though she knew she didn’t do it, it seemed as if all of the evidence gathered by the local sheriff made it impossible for anyone else to have pulled the trigger.

In a case that brings out the best in the man known as Shark, the surprises never end. In the end, it truly shows that there is a consequence in having a conscience.
