Research Program SPACETIME: Game-Theoretic Entry into Physics & Chemistry (Science, Knowledge Management & Artificial Intelligence, Band 9) - Softcover

Inhaltsangabe

Before anyone asserts a theory of spacetime, one question has to be answered: what counts as an admissible explanation?

Quantum gravity, spacetime from information, strings, loops, causal sets: the candidates are many and hard to compare. This book builds the missing yardstick. It is not another theory of spacetime. It builds the stage, not the play.

What you will find inside:

• A test framework of axioms, a test matrix, and viability criteria: is a candidate free of circularity and category errors?
• A third form of description: alongside discrete and continuous, the game-theoretic approach with agent, move, and payoff
• A new dividing line between physics and chemistry, set by stability rather than scale
• Field causality and object causality, and the seam where they meet
• A comparison with causal sets, loop quantum gravity, entropic gravity, and AdS/CFT
• Three proposed experiments, with priorities and explicit non-predictions
• A register of fracture points: limits count here as a result, not a defect

Honest about its claims: every building block stays testable and revisable, and each carries an open STOP condition. The use of AI systems in the book's development is disclosed as well.

Who is it for? Physicists who want an explicit account of what their models tacitly presuppose. Philosophers looking for concrete physical case material. Systems theorists who want to try their vocabulary on fundamental physics. And anyone who wants to test approaches to spacetime, not just admire them.

A volume in the Research Program series by Dr. Ekkehard Finkeissen.
