DANZI - Pieza de Concierto nº 1 en Sib Mayor Op.45 para Clarinete y Piano - Softcover

Inhaltsangabe

Concertante piece No. 1 in Bb major Edition for clarinet and piano by John P. Newhill From "Potpourri" to Concert Piece Franz Danzi´s Concert Pieces Nos. 2 and 3 for clarinet and orchestra (or piano) have been gracing the MUSICA RARA catalogue for some time now, and their popularity often spawned the question: "Isn´t there a great, virtuoso Concert Piece No. 1 as well?" John P. Newhill´s newedition supplies a positive answer to this question and, at the same time, completes this little group of works. Let us note, however, that the title of the piece is not historically legitimated. Danzi called his concert pieces "potpourris" and had all three works published under this genre title, which was very "in" at that time.
