Sophia Kafui Teye is a Portfolio Manager at HFC Investments where she helps manage clients’ financial assets consisting of pension funds, private wealth, endowments and four collective investment schemes. She directly manages portfolio with allocations in stocks, bonds, treasury bills and certificate of deposits. Prior to joining HFC Investments she worked with the Share Registry Department of Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB). At GCB Share Registry, she worked on depository lodgment requests from brokers and assisted investors with their indemnity requests. Sophia graduated from Ashesi University College with a BSc. in Business Administration. She is also licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Ghana as an Investment representative, and holds MBA in Finance from Pentecost University College. She is a student member of Association of Chartered Accountants, Ghana. Sophia’s experience spans fund management, investment appraisals and fund reporting to regulators. Sophia upholds integrity and team work as winning values. Additionally, Sophia authored a personal development book entitled “Stepping Up Your Life”, and was also adjudged the Most Promising Young Investment Professional under 28 at the 2012 Ghana Investment Awards. Sophia is a Deaconess in the Church of Pentecost, Cantonments Worship Center Assembly. She is married to Pharm. Agbenyega Nartey and they are blessed with a son.
