The Lady from Tel Aviv explores the contradictory feelings of a Palestinian writer, an Israeli actress and the son of well known Arab leader, through a controversial relationship between the three of them, and focuses on their efforts to overcome their fears and hostility. Synopsis: In his new novel, The Land of Shadows, A Palestinian writer who lives in exile, tells the story of a German-Palestinian accountant who returns to Gaza reunite with the Palestinian girl he loved thirty years ago. During their time apart, he gets marry to a German lady, and the girl to her cousin. But after ten years, the accountant marriage falls apart, and the Palestinian women loses her husband who's been killed by an Israeli Sniper. The details of the novel attracts the writer him self, so he decides to return to Gaza after 38 years in exile, following in the footsteps of his main character- the accountant. On the journey from London to Tel Aviv, the writer meets an Israeli actress who discloses to the readers, not to the writer- a secret: problematic ambiguous relationship with the son of a well known Arab leader. In Gaza, his protagonist- the accountant, and other characters as well, comes to life. Surprisingly, the writer meets his protagonist, and leads him toward his first love. Upon his return to London, the writer receives a phone call from the Israeli actress requesting an urgent meeting, promising him that she is going to reveal a big secret. On his way to their meeting, the writer disappears.

Raba i Al-Madhoun British-Palestinian writer. Born in Almajdal-Askalan-Palestine 1945. Have been working in the media (magazines and newspapers, TV news production since 1975). working now with Asharqalawsat- The Arab leading international newspaper based in London. Author of the following books: The Idiot of khan Younis; short stories (Arabic language), Beirut 1977. The Palestinian Uprising: Method and Structure, 2 editions; Sharq Press, Nicosia-Cyprus 1988 and Dar Elaswar Akka- Israel 1989. The Taste of Separation (narrated autobiography)- Arab Institute for Research and Publishing in Beirut-Amman 2001.
