Eddie C. Au is a Lean Specialist, Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (ASQ), Champion (IBM) & Master Black Belt Candidate (SSP). He received a B.S.I.E.(UW-Madison), Dip. In Finance(CUHK), M.Sc.(HKPU) and Ph.D. (WCIMT) in 1992, 1994, 2000 and 2003 respectively. He was a part-time VTC lecturer, a columnist for Hong Kong Economic Times, a writer to several journals, a senior member of IIE, and the author of Effective Management (Et Press 2003). He has over 13 years experience in assisting multi-national and listing enterprises such as Tyco, Schick, Nypro, Viasystems, Kingboard, Hoya, Philips, Orient Power, Golden Power, Mansfield, ORIX, UPW, OSRAM, National, Vtech, LK Group and TetraPak in their operations improvement programs.
He is a product developer, trainer, consultant and project manager in Lean & Six Sigma Training and Consultancy Programs (on Lean Awareness, TPM, Pull System, JIT, Quality, OPF, Kanban, Leveling, Poka-yoke, SMED, VSM, Kaizen, Visual Mgt., 5S, Standardization, Six Sigma Awareness, Champion, Green Belt and Black Belt topics). He is currently leading 21 Six Sigma Black Belt candidates and 3 Lean improvement projects.
