Hardcover. Zustand: As New. The images of this book show different cattle breeds raised in Argentina and the close relationship between the animals and the paisanos (countrymen) or the gringos (white foreigners), who take care of them and give them affection. The acute vision of French photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand displays the culmination of a long-lasting process originated several generations ago and defines a distinctive lifestyle. Mariano G. Fernandez Alt s texts track back the history of each breeder, the breed it represents and the establishment that raises it. Arte Rural is a valuable testimony of the traditions that persist in Argentina and characterize this country. Artikel-Nr. 65c7178f-e4a5-4003-bf67-3a4a62e74eef
