Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Charles McCormac was born in England in 1915 and at the age of four went out to Malaya where his father was a planter. There he grew up, learning to speak Malay, Chinese, Tamil and Japanese, as well as his native English. In 1937 he was back in Malaya with the RAF s No.36 (Torpedo-Bomber) Squadron and flew in the old Vildebeestes as wireless operator and air-gunner.
