Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Takashi Yabe is a professor at Tokyo Institute of Technology. His main research areas include computational fluid dynamics and laser application. He was engaged in laser fusion at the Institute of Laser Engineering, Osaka University, and achieved highest neutron production (awarded in1987). He also proposed a new numerical scheme called the CIP method. The citations to this work exceed 1200. The Time magazine chose Dr. Yabe as one of the "Heroes of the Environment" in 2009. He is CEO of Electra Co., Ltd., and a chairman of Pegasos Electra Co., Ltd., founded for this project.
