Chinese together with IQChinese Go (multimedia CDROM) form an integrated Chinese language program that offers an easy, enjoyable and effective learning experience for learners of Chinese as a foreign language. The themes and lesson plans of this program are designed with reference to ACTFL?s 5Cs and the Curriculum Guides for Modern Languages developed by the Toronto District Board of Education. A comprehensive Instructor Resource Pack (one for each level of Go100 ? Go400) offers lesson plans, flashcards, and an audio CD. In addition, complimentary instructors? resources are available online. The optional companion multimedia CD-ROM s give learners access to audio, visual and textual information about the language all at once. She has also worked as Curriculum Advisor for the Toronto Board of Education (Canada). She was member director of Ontario Chinese Education Association (Canada), and web educator for Global Chinese Language and Culture Center of OCAC (Overseas Compatriot Affairs Commission, Taiwan).
Julie Lo has forty years of experience teaching Chinese to primary and high school students. She has also taught in the National Taipei University of Education and served as a local education counselor. She retired as Assistant Professor from the National Taipei University of Education in 2003. After her retirement, Julie continued to pursue her passion for Chinese and teaching by volunteering with the Jian Hua High School in Chiangmai.
