The common cavity deformity (CCD) of the inner ear is characterized by cochlea and vestibule forming a single cavity. The common cavity deformity (CCD) of the inner ear is characterized by cochlea and vestibule forming a single cavity. It indicates cochlear implantation (CI) and about 15% to 25% of inner ear malformation.
