This edited volume presents case studies of the transformation of China’s public services over the past decade in China. As the country has experienced fundamental changes in its demographic, economic, social and environmental structures, demands on public services have been increasing tremendously, and have become unprecedentedly diverse. Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Yijia Jing is a professor in Public Administration of Fudan University, editor-in-chief of Fudan Public Administration Review, associate editor of Public Administration Review, co-editor of International Public Management Journal and a vice president of International Research Society for Public Management.

Stephen P. Osborne holds the Chair of International Public Management in the University of Edinburgh Business School.  He is the founder and current editor of the journal Public Management Review and the founder and immediate Past-President of the International Research Society for Public Management.
