There's a Buzzard on the Balcony - Hardcover

Inhaltsangabe

When a child goes out to the balcony to have tea, they are startled to find an unexpected guest coming down to join them-a buzzard! Oh my! Poor Teddy is quaking in his chair, and Bunny isn't sure this is at all a good idea. MacDuff the cat, meanwhile, is sizing up the bird for his tea... But it wouldn't do to be rude. The friends nervously invite the buzzard to join them. Will he be good company? Does he like tea and cakes? And will he turn those hungry eyes on them? Told in delightful rhyming verse, this book explores the wonder of a child's imagination at teatime-and the kind of unexpected guests we all have to deal with now and then! Speaking of guests, there's another guest that no one has noticed at this tea party. Petit Fromage, the mouse! Can you spot what he's up to on each page?
