Faced with the reality that sudden life-changing events can be a part of life, parents and teachers are now being advised to prepare for the physical and emotional well-being of their children.

For this reason, it is imperative that parents and adults working with children are adequately prepared to help kids cope with the physical or emotional trauma resulting from disaster or sudden loss and change. When adults prepare ahead for the emotional consequences of life-changing events, they are better able to support and empower their children’s physical and emotional well-being.

This guide provides parents and teachers with the necessary tools to be their children’s emotional coach during a time of crisis. Through these fun games and activities children will learn positive coping skills.

Sincerely,
