Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Debasish Lohar obtained his Ph.D degree from IIT, Kharagpur in 1994. He is a Professor and presently Head of the Department of Physics at Jadavpur University, Kolkata. For the past about 22 years he is teaching at Jadavpur University, both at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. His research interest includes computational fluid dynamics with application in numerical weather forecasting. He has received V. Bhavanarayana award from the Indian Meteorological Society, New Delhi.
