Kristi Hager Johnson resides in North Carolina. A poet and writer for over 30 years she began submitting her work for publication only recently. Encouraged by the publishers' responses, in print and online, Kristi began to discover her poetic voice once more. This provided the confidence to undertake her first book, Routes of Remembrance. Mother of three grown children and a grandmother, she finds herself newly-wed and living in Zebulon with her loving and supportive husband. Born in Ohio she claims to have a buckeye heart, tar on her heels, salt water in her veins, and a soul made whole through writing. She is a survivor who firmly believes life is to be lived full of love and poetry.
