Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
George Franklin Atkinson (1822-1859) was a British artist, writer and an officer of Bengal Engineers. He served Bengal Engineers between 1840 and 1859. His paintings depicted Indian life and military battles, and was a key eyewitness of the 1857 mutiny.
