The book is a personal story about the deep emotions experienced by a woman to make something of her life. Written in the form of poetry, it is a poignant depiction of the life of some women who in their youth, had dreams and hopes of scaling great heights in life, despite seemingly insurmountable obstacles. They discover to their disappointment, that all their laudable efforts and struggles did not come to fruition, due to the complicated way, we live our lives in society. The poems are written in a short, creative, free form. The first few poems depict the inner struggle followed by later poems that bring out acceptance of reality and healing.
