A.C. Seward, also known as Albert Charles Seward, was an eminent British botanist and geologist who lived from 1863 to 1941. He was a professor of botany at the University of Cambridge and a fellow of the Royal Society. Seward was known for his contributions to the study of fossil plants and his work on the evolution of land plants. Seward authored several books, including "Darwin and Modern Science," which he co-wrote with a team of experts.
