Jarasandha, ein tyrannischer Herrscher in der Mahabharata, wurde als zwei symmetrische Hälften geboren - eine von jeder der zwei Ehefrauen eines Königs. Die Halbkinder schlossen sich zusammen, um ein Ganzes zu machen, als eine Dämonin ihnen gegenüberstellte, während sie sich darauf vorbereitete, die Fleischklumpen zu verschlingen. So konnte Jarasandha auseinander gespalten werden, würde aber zusammenkommen, wenn die Hälften in der richtigen Weise nebeneinander gelegt würden. Bis Bhima, der stärkste der Pandavas, ihn spaltete und sicherstellte, dass er tot blieb, indem er die linke Hälfte nach rechts warf und umgekehrt.
In ähnlicher Weise gibt es ein symmetrisches Schloss, von dem jede Seite nur die Hälfte des Ganzen ist. Um es zu öffnen oder zu schließen, müssen Sie beide Hälften bearbeiten.
Über den Autor
Als Akademiker für einen Großteil seines Berufslebens lehrte V. Raghunathan (Raghu zu seinen Freunden) fast zwei Jahrzehnte lang Finanzen an der IIM, Ahmadabad, bevor er als Präsident der ING Vysya Bank in Bengaluru einen Bankier wurde. Derzeit ist er CEO der GMR Varalakshmi Foundation und ist weiterhin außerordentlicher Professor an der Universität Bocconi, Mailand, Italien, wo er seit 22 Jahren jedes Jahr lehrt.
Raghu hat wahrscheinlich die größte Sammlung antiker Schlösser in der Grafschaft, hat Schach auf ganz Indien gespielt, und war kurz Karikaturist für eine nationale Tageszeitung. Er hat ausgiebig für führende Zeitungen und Zeitschriften geschrieben; Zu seinen Büchern gehören Ganesha auf dem Dashboard, Dont Sprint the Marathon und Games Indian Play.

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Raghu is an academic, corporate executive, author, columnistand a hobbyist. He taught finance at IIM, Ahmedabad, for nearlytwo decades before turning a banker as the president of INGVysya Bank in Bengaluru. He is currently the CEO of GMRVaralakshmi Foundation. He is also an adjunct professor at theUniversity of Bocconi, Milan, Italy, and Schulich School ofBusiness, York University, Toronto, Canada.Raghu has probably the largest collection of antique locks inthe country, has played chess at all-India level, and was briefly acartoonist for a national daily. He has been writing extensivelyfor leading newspapers and magazines and currently blogs forthe Times of India.
