Inhaltsangabe

Heroes have won the day, leaving a trail of slain monsters in their wake. Their epic tales are sung by bards throughout the land, enshrining their legacy.

“But what of the monsters? The gorgon? The noble ent? And the evil clown?” you ask. “Is there no bard that will sing for them? No poet to inscribe upon their tomb?”

Dear reader, the answer is yes. In After the Monsters Are Slain, Herb Kauderer has chiseled epitaphs upon the tombstones for all those monsters and many more. Although the monsters have been slain, these poems memorialize them with humorous, insightful postscripts to their legacy.
