Nerissa - Volume 1 - Awakening
London surgeon Nerissa Pottinger has spent her life saving others―never imagining she might have to save her own father from the impossible.

When Liam Pottinger collapses after a mysterious attack in Hyde Park, Nerissa’s medical instincts kick in. But no scan or blood test can explain the venom running through his veins. Then a stranger named Jade appears with a shocking claim: Nerissa’s mother, long believed dead, is alive … imprisoned in a hidden monastery in Hong Kong.

Drawn into a world of ancient prophecies, forbidden love, and supernatural enemies, Nerissa learns she is the daughter of a human father and a She Yao mother―the legendary White Snake. Her very existence is a threat to the fragile peace between worlds.

To save her father, Nerissa must decide: trust Jade and embrace powers she never knew she had… or walk away and lose the only family she’s ever known. But in the shadows, an old enemy is already closing in…

In the streets of London and the shadows of Hong Kong, the fight for her family will reveal who―and what―Nerissa really is.
