Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Jules L. Peschar is professor of Sociology of Education at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands. He was chair of national evaluation programmes in education and consultant to the Ministry of Education and OECD. His main interest is in cross-national research and international education indicators, in particular Cross-Curricular Competencies. Marieke van der Wal is a PhD Student at the Department of Sociology at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands. Sociology of Education has her general interest. Cross-Curricular Competencies is the subject of her dissertation. Her dissertation will go into a conceptualisation and measurement of Cross-Curricular Competencies and can be expected in autumn 2002.
