EN - New techniques allow us to look ever deeper into the hidden world of the brain. In the quest to make the invisible visible, researchers create fascinating and often surprisingly colourful images that help unravel its mysteries. They enable us to better understand how the brain works and why it sometimes develops differently. They also accelerate the development of new treatments for brain disorders such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's.
Beyond their scientific value, these images bear witness to the beauty of the brain, seen through the eyes of our scientists. This selection of fascinating images is the result of brain research across disciplines and across borders, making Wonder Brain a tribute to the brain and to the people who study it.
