Regarding argument realization, Capistrán discusses alternating constructions and a construction split triggered by the person hierarchy. Valence-affecting operations--applicative, causative/instrumental and part-whole lexical suffixes--are examined, highlighting the person features of applicative suffixes and the complex part-whole morphology.
