John R. Davis, Ph.D. Glasgow, is Professor of History and International Relations at Kingston University, London. Publications include The Victorians and Germany (Lang, 2007).
Stefan Manz, Ph.D. Durham, is Senior Lecturer in German at Aston University, Birmingham, and a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society. Publications include Migranten und Internierte. Deutsche in Glasgow, 1864-1918 (Steiner, 2003).
