Stefan Manz, Ph.D. Durham, is Senior Lecturer in German at Aston University, Birmingham, and a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society. Publications include Migranten und Internierte. Deutsche in Glasgow, 1864-1918 (Steiner, 2003).
