The work borrows the symbolic potency of flowers to act as anchor points of protest, memorial, and reflexive connotations of enduring beauty within the traditions of art history. Each Flowers image originates from a stock photograph of a vase of flowers, and undergoes a process of a stream-of-conscious re-authorship; engaging in digital mark-making, manipulation, and web appropriation.
