Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Ashutosh Dutta is currently the CTO ofWireless Technologies and the Executive Director of the NIKSUN Innovation Center. He is responsible for the design and implementation of NIKSUN's wireless solutions as well as overseeing the staff and research activities at the NIKSUN Innovation Center. Ashutosh has over 25 years of experience in designing next generation wireless networks, computer systems, software, hardware, and Internet architecture. Prior to joining NIKSUN, Ashutosh spent 13 years at Telcordia Technologies, formerly Bellcore, as a Senior Scientist. Before that, he was the Director of the Central Research Facility of the Computer Science Department at Columbia University. He has over a dozen patents awarded to his credit (15 pending) and has over 75 journal, conference, book chapters and IETF publications. Ashutosh received a BS in Electrical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, India, an MS in Computer Science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, and a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University, under the supervision of Prof. Henning Schulzrinne. Ashutosh is a Senior member of both the IEEE and ACM as well as an active IEEE volunteer; he has served as the Section Chair of IEEE Princeton/Central Jersey Section and currently serves as the Industry Relation Chair for IEEE MGA. He is recipient of IEEE-USA professional leadership award, IEEE Region 1 award and the prestigious 2009 IEEE MGA Leadership Award. Ruby B. Lee is the Forrest G. Hamrick Professor of Engineering and Professor of Electrical Engineering at Princeton University, with an affiliated appointment in the Computer Science department. She is the director of the Princeton Architecture Laboratory for Multimedia and Security (PALMS). Her current research is in designing security and new media support into core computer architecture, embedded systems and global networked systems, and in architectures resistant to Distributed Denial of Service attacks and Internet-scale epidemics. She teaches courses in Cyber Security and Processor Architectures for New Paradigms. She is a Fellow of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE). She is Associate Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Micro and Editorial Board member of IEEE Security and Privacy. Prior to joining the Princeton faculty in 1998, Dr. Lee served as chief architect at Hewlett-Packard, responsible at different times for processor architecture, multimedia architecture and security architecture for e-commerce and extended enterprises. She was a key architect in the definition and evolution of the PA-RISC architecture used in HP servers and workstations, and also led the first CMOS PA-RISC single-chip microprocessor design. As chief architect for HP's multimedia architecture team, Dr. Lee led an inter-disciplinary team focused on architecture to facilitate pervasive multimedia information processing using general-purpose computers. This resulted in the first desktop computer family with integrated, software-based, high fidelity, real-time multimedia. Dr. Lee also co-led a multimedia architecture team for IA-64. Concurrent with full-time employment at HP, Dr. Lee also served as Consulting Professor of Electrical Engineering at Stanford University. She has a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and a M.S. in Computer Science, both from Stanford University, and an A.B. with distinction from Cornell University, where she was a College Scholar. She is an elected member of Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Lambda Delta. She has been granted 115 United States and international patents, with several patents pending. Neeli Rashmi Prasad, Ph.D., Head of Research and Coordinator of Themantic area Network without Borders, Center for TeleInfrastruktur (CTIF), Aalborg University, Aalborg, Denmark. Director of CTIF-USA, Princeton, USA and leading IoT Testbed at Easy Life Lab and Secure Cognitive radio network testbed at S-Cogito Lab. She received her Ph.D. from University of Rome "Tor Vergata", Rome, Italy, in the field of "adaptive security for wireless heterogeneous networks" in 2004 and M.Sc. (Ir.) degree in Electrical Engineering from Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands, in the field of "Indoor Wireless Communications using Slotted ISMA Protocols" in 1997. During her industrial and academic career for over 14 years, she has lead and coordinated several projects. At present, She is leading a industry-funded projects on Security and Monitoring (STRONG) and on reliable self organizing networks REASON, Project Coordinator of European Commission (EC) CIP-PSP LIFE 2.0 for 65+ and social interaction and Integrated Project (IP) ASPIRE on RFID and Middleware and EC Network of Excellence CRUISE on Wireless Sensor Networks. She is co-caretaker of real world internet (RWI) at Future Internet. She has lead EC Cluster for Mesh and Sensor Networks and Counsellor of IEEE Student Branch, Aalborg. She is Aalborg University project leader for EC funded IST IP e-SENSE on Wireless Sensor Networks and NI2S3 on Homeland and Airport security and ISISEMD on telehealth care. She is also part of the EC SMART Cities workgroup portfolio. She joined Libertel (now Vodafone NL), Maastricht, The Netherlands as a Radio Engineer in 1997. From November 1998 till May 2001, she worked as Systems Architect for Wireless LANs in Wireless Communications and Networking Division of Lucent Technologies, Nieuwegein, The Netherlands. From June 2001 to July 2003, she was with T-Mobile Netherlands, The Hague, The Netherlands as Senior Architect for Core Network Group. Subsequently, from July 2003 to April 2004, she was Senior Research Manager at PCOM:I3, Aalborg, Denmark. Her publications range from top journals, international conferences and chapters in books. She has also co-edited and co-authored two books titled "WLAN Systems and Wireless IP for Next Generation Communications" and "Wireless LANs and Wireless IP Security, Mobility, QoS and Mobile Network Integration", published by Artech House, 2001 and 2005.
