Hard Cover. Zustand: Near Fine. Limited Edition. This is a near fine hardcover copy without dust jacket as issued, with almost no wear. Just two scratches to the covers, otherwise fine. Completely clean inside and out. This monograph was prepared to accompany the exhibition at the Salon of the Museum of Contemporary Art, in Belgrad from September 9 to October 7, 2005. Ivan Grubanov, in 2002, was visiting artist at the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam. By sheer coincidence, that same year, Slobodan Milosevic, the former Yugoslavian president, was put on trial in the International Tribunal in The Hague. This was twenty minutes away from Grubanov at the Rijksakademie. Grubanov somehow got a Visitor's Pass for the trial, and came almost every day. Photographs were not allowed, but he was able to make drawings every time he was there. This book is the record of his experience. Text in Serbian and English. Essays by Gerardo Mosquera, Phillipe Pirotte, and Marina Martic. Illustrated with a few black & white photographs, probably screen shots from the televised broadcast into Yugoslavia. Also reproductions of many pages of Grubanov's notebook of black & white drawings of the trial. This is a limited edition of 1300 copies. 9" square, unpaginated. Heavy book, foreign shipping will be extra. This book will be securely packed and shipped with tracking. Artikel-Nr. 016647
