Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Nació en Vilalba (Lugo) y, desde hace veinte años, reside en Vigo. Además de Perito Industrial, es Maestro y Licenciado en Ciencias de la Educación. Durante más de tres décadas, trabajó como docente en la enseñanza primaria y en la secundaria. En la actualidad, se dedica exclusivamente a la escritura. Es autor de numerosos títulos, dirigidos preferentemente a lectores infantiles y juveniles. Sus libros, escritos en gallego, se traducen habitualmente a las otras lenguas españolas. Ademas de premios tan relevantes como el Lazarillo o el Nacional de Literatura, también ha obtenido el Premio EDEBÉ, tanto en su Modalidad Juvenil como en su Modalidad Infantil. En el año 2011, ha sido seleccionado como candidato español al prestigioso Premio Andersen.
