This volume contains selected papers on linguistics from the conference organized by the Jagiellonian University Student's English Society from April 7 to 8 in 2008 in Krakow. The authors were all students of the Jagiellonian University and the university of Lodz at the time of the conference. The papers address questions related to the theory of natural language syntax, language diachrony, theory of phonology, psycholinguistics, linguistic stylistics, translation theory and language methodology.
