K. Suneetha Rani is a Reader in English at the University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad, India. She has visited Canada and Australia as a research fellow, and has interviewed several Aboriginal and First Nations women writers. Suneetha translates from English to Telugu and Telugu to English, and her translations have been published in various journals and as independent books. She is currently involved in translating Dalit women’s writing from Telugu to English and Sri Lankan women’s short fiction from English to Telugu. Suneetha has recently completed her Sahitya Akademi Junior Fellowship on “Emergence of an Identity in Dalit Women’s Narratives.”
