This book is a compilation of the articles and lectures on different facets of the national security of India. In the book, the author has attempted to do a clinical analysis of what is wrong with the present system security of India. While several other countries have reformed their security, intelligence and policing apparatus, India has unfortunately lagged behind according to the author. There have been no significant reforms since 1947 either in intelligence integration methodology or in policing except adding numbers. According to the author, this is the reason why India is unable to meet the formidable challenges of the 21st Century where security, intelligence and policing have become much more complicated. This collection deals with this problem and attempts to offer some suggestions to remedy the system that is presently in operation in India.
