Taxonomy of Angiosperms is designed for B.Sc. (H) and M.Sc. students of Botany in various universities. The book is divided into two parts: Part I deals with the Principles of Angiosperm Taxonomy and Part II addresses the families. The book is amply illustrated with examples. Some of the important chapters in Part I comprise different classifications, nomenclature, biosystematics, modern trends in taxonomy, chemotaxonomy, numerical taxonomy, etc. Part II examines the 214 families of which 55 are discussed in detail, while the summarized accounts of the rest are given for the benefit of advanced students. The book is also equipped with numerous appendices such as the comparison of classifications, floral diagrams and floral formulae, questions, etc. The book will cater to the needs of Botany students pursuing B.Sc. (H), M.Sc. and related fields, such as Medical Botany, Pharmacy, Agricultural Botany, and Horticulture.

Charlotte y Peter Fiell son dos autoridades en historia, teoría y crítica del diseño y han escrito más de sesenta libros sobre la materia, muchos de los cuales se han convertido en éxitos de ventas. También han impartido conferencias y cursos como profesores invitados, han comisariado exposiciones y asesorado a fabricantes, museos, salas de subastas y grandes coleccionistas privados de todo el mundo.
