B Thiagarajan has completed his Master's in Computer Applications and M. Phil. in Computer Sciences and has postgraduate diplomas in Bioinformatics, Management and Operations Management. He is currently heading the Department of Bioinformatics apart from being a Senior Lecturer in the School of Information Technology and Science at Dr G R Damodaran College of Science, Coimbatore. He is an expert in C programming and Object-Oriented Programming and is pursuing Ph.D. in Computer Science. He has organized over 50 national level seminars and workshops both in Computer Science and Bioinformatics. He is serving as a chairperson and member of various bodies such as Boards of Studies, Boards of Examiners of scores of Universities and premier institutes across the country. He has presented over 50 papers at national and international conferences, which includes an international conference on High Dimensional Data Modeling at Turkey. He has been Associate Editor of the Scientific Monthly Wide Spectrum catalysed by Department of Science and Technology, Government of India since June 2003. Pa Rajalakshmi has completed her M. Phil. in Biochemistry and is pursuing her Ph.D. in Bioinformatics. She has obtained postgraduate diplomas in Bioinformatics and in Microbial Biotechnology. She is presently working as lecturer of Bioinformatics in Dr G R Damodaran College of Science, Coimbatore.
